There is no better feeling than your football team winning a match. This is even more the case when your team is Aston Villa, who before today had won a measly five out of the previous twenty eight games this season and are staring relegation in the face. When part of you is invested within a club and you have blindly followed the team since the age of five, winning such a significant game can be the ultimate natural high - an incredible mood enhancer. Suddenly the world is a better place, you can hear birds singing instead of the dull hum of traffic, you would hug anybody within a five metre radius, your worries can be put off until tomorrow and the impossible is suddenly possible. There are only two other moments in life I can think of that can produce such a feeling of sheer elation and I don't intend writing about those on my blog any time soon...
