Head Space Daily Words...
Head Space was not daily yesterday due to helping some friends at their son's 8th birthday party, then going out to some other friends and drinking too much red wine - so back on it today, with hangover. The party was at Power League in Cross Harbour. Catching the DLR to get there is an experience in itself, with its twists and turns in between buildings old and new, like some kind of genteel urban rollercoaster. This particular Power League venue has been established in what was formerly a multi-storey car park. It is a really inventive use of space, with three indoor five a side pitches, where parking bays once were and two outdoor pitches on the roof, with views across to the O2 Arena in one direction and Greenwich Observatory in the other. It's quite impressive. Talking of space, this morning felt like the arrival of spring, so it may be time to make like Titchmarsh and get out into the garden for the first time this year...
