Head Space Daily Words…
The mouse in our house situation (as mentioned in HSD Words on December 2nd,) has now reached Tom and Jerry proportions, with the pesky blighters removing the bait without springing the trap. How does that happen? Have we been visited by a super fast Speedy Gonzalez breed of mouse? Or is it simply down to poor trap, lucky mouse? I am now thinking of a change of tactics and lying in wait to ambush them. If I conceal myself behind a large pile of washing in the dining room, tempt them out into the open with a generous piece of chocolate, craftily placed within a tupperware container, then once inside swiftly clamp on the lid and hey presto. What could go wrong...
