Head Space Daily Image...
Six months after the Olympic Games were held in London, this plaque remains outside our local pub. The irony is that our local pub doesn't actually have a TV screen, so no live action celebrating would have been taking place. I notice a fair amount of Olympics advertising memorabilia dotted around town, particularly in newsagents. I liked the retro feel of the Coke advertising, which already felt nostalgic in it's look before the event had even happened - a case of pre nostalgia nostalgia, which must now be classed as retro pre nostalgia nostalgic nostagia. I think this plaque should remain as a permanent memorial.
